About Lisa

With over two decades of experience in personal training, health coaching, and therapeutic recreation, Lisa is passionate about helping clients achieve long-term health, mobility, and strength.  Holding a Master of Science in Health Education & Sports Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Leisure Services & Therapeutic Recreation, Lisa’s credentials and expertise extend into corrective exercise, strength training, cardiac rehabilitation, and senior fitness.

Lisa’s career spans multiple areas of health and fitness, from working as a corporate wellness supervisor at Health First Hospital to teaching college-level health and fitness courses at Eastern Florida State College. She has provided one-on-one training, group fitness, and health coaching for clients of all backgrounds, with a special focus on:

✅ Older adults looking to improve mobility and strength
✅ Clients recovering from injuries or medical conditions
✅ Individuals managing neurodegenerative diseases, such as dementia & Alzheimer’s
✅ Therapeutic exercise for bone health, including osteoporosis-focused training

Lisa is also a Certified CPR and First Aid Instructor, ensuring that her training sessions are not only effective and research-backed but also safe and prepared for any situation. Her passion for education and accessibility extends beyond in-person training, as she has extensive experience in online and virtual fitness coaching, making her expertise available to those who may not be able to train in person.

 

In addition to personal training, Lisa has conducted health and wellness lectures, educating individuals and organizations on the importance of movement, injury prevention, and lifestyle strategies for long-term well-being. She believes that fitness is about more than just exercise—it’s about empowering clients with the knowledge and tools to take control of their health for life.

Lisa brings a unique, research-backed approach to her training, combining exercise science, therapeutic recreation, and wellness coaching to help clients not only move better but feel more confident and independent. She believes in the power of uplifting, holistic fitness—which aligns perfectly with LFT’s mission to UpLFT and empower clients through strength, movement, and longevity.

A nationally recognized certification that qualifies fitness professionals to design and implement safe, effective, and personalized exercise programs. Personal trainers assess movement patterns, correct imbalances, and help clients build strength, endurance, and mobility to improve their overall fitness and well-being.

This certification provides specialized training in behavior change, lifestyle coaching, and holistic wellness.
