About Kyle

At LFT, I believe fitness goes beyond just physical strength—it’s about building resilience, confidence, and overall well-being. As a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), I specialize in helping middle-aged and older adults improve mobility, strength, and longevity. With a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling, I also focus on integrating mental health principles into my training approach, ensuring that every session is not just physically effective but also mentally uplifting and empowering.

A Holistic Approach to Strength and Wellness

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients facing physical limitations, injuries, and chronic conditions, recognizing that the mind and body are deeply connected. Many clients struggle with mobility restrictions, pain, or the belief that they can’t regain their former strength. I focus on working with clients to change that mindset by combining corrective exercise, strength training, and client-centered psychological principles to create a truly holistic training experience.

I specialize in working with clients managing neurodegenerative diseases like dementia and Alzheimer’s, bone diseases such as osteoporosis, and individuals with disabilities. By using science-backed movement strategies, I help clients improve coordination, balance, and overall functional ability, ensuring they stay active and independent for as long as possible.

Evidence-Based Training for Longevity & Quality of Life

In my work with older adults and those with chronic conditions, I emphasize:

  • Corrective Exercise – Addressing movement patterns that may be contributing to pain in day-to-day activities or difficulty performing certain tasks like standing, walking, and reaching.

  • Strength & Bone Health – Helping osteoporosis clients build back bone density and reduce risk of future fractures through research supported progressive resistance training techniques.

  • Cognitive & Functional Training – Using exercises proven to support cognitive health and mental wellbeing for clients with dementia and Alzheimer's.  I am also Alzheimer's and Dementia care trained, and incorporate industry standard supportive care for these clients.

  • Adaptive Fitness for Disabilities – Modifying exercises to suit individual abilities while maximizing strength and independence.

My training is not just about physical fitness—it’s about enhancing overall well-being, reducing stress, and restoring confidence in movement.
